NIGERIA // LNG LAGOS II approached 247NM South of Lagos – 18/12/2020

EVENT DESCRIPTION // On December 18^th, around 0527 UTC, some 247NM South of Lagos (127NM SW of Agbami), the Bermuda-flagged LNG carrier LNG LAGOS II (IMO: 9692014) was approached by what was described as one wooden boat with 8-10 perpetrators on board. According to reports a ladder was sighted. The crew was able to retreat into the citadel and are all reported to be safe. No damage to the vessel was recorded.
