The tanker attacked on AM hours of August 17th around 58NM SW of Bonny was first reached by a private security escort vessel and then by a Nigerian Navy vessel. This latest escorted the tanker all the way back to Bonny fairway buoy. Below a picture taken by one of our staff in Bonny anchorage on August 18th around 1800 LT, a few hours after the vessel arrived in the area. August 19th update: Latest reports state that a crew member was indeed kidnapped.
