Armed men successfully boarded a tanker in Conakry anchorage, Guinea.
GUINEA // On September 16th, 2019, early AM hours a tanker was successfully boarded by 4 men in Conakry anchorage, Guinea. The perpetrators, armed with blades and Ak-47s, threatened the crew, stole their valuables and other equipment found onboard. They subsequently left the vessel. According to reports no crew member reported injuries.
Early August a similar incident was reported in same area.
