On September 17th, 2019, around 1738 LT, in proximity of uninhabited island of Harmil, Eritrea, a sailing yacht was attacked by 6 armed pirates onboard a speedboat. The yacht was possibly hijacked, and crew kidnapped. No further news available at present time.
September 19th, 2019 update: Further information was released by UKMTO on the incident. It appears that the yacht, with 4 Russian nationals onboard, was seized by Eritrean coastguard and following an inspection was then released.
