GHANA // RESILIENCE boarding Takoradi anchorage – 27/11/2020

EVENT DESCRIPTION // On November 27^th, around 0140 UTC, within the Takoradi anchorage area, the Italian-flagged bulk carrier RESILIENCE (IMO: 9511454) was boarded by 2 unknown and unauthorised personnel. Alarm was raised by the duty officer during his routine safety round prompting the robbers to escape from the vessel. Although some padlocks were found broken nothing was reported stolen. Port authorities informed and local patrol dispatched in the area.

Vessel and crew are safe.

The vessel is owned and managed by RBD Armatori, Naples (Italy).
